In 2019, OWLHK undertook Ting Kok Appreciation Day, organized by Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. There were a series of events at Tai Po Waterfront Park, which included game booths, ecological painting, Light of Tolo 2019 Winning Entries Photo Exhibition, field trips etc., so as to increase public awareness towards coastal habitats and wildlife , and raise the importance of conservation.
