
OWLHK organized the first Coastal Ecology Course in 2020. This course introduces the beauty and importance of coastal creatures and ecology in Hong Kong.

Course Feature
- A comprehensive coastal ecology course, investigating different habitats including mangroves, rocky shores and soft shores.
- Small class teaching: each class opens for application within 24 trainees, arranged on a first-come, first-served basis. Teacher-to-student ratio remains 1:6.
- Professional tutor: lecturers and field-trip tutors are local graduates of ecology, who are also sophisticated in environmental education and botany research
- Outdoor education: the course consists of 3 field trips, not less than 10 hours
- Featuring Ecology Component: on top of species identification, it introduces the importance of Intertidal species ecologically

3 sessions of lecture, 3 half-day field trips. 16 hours in total.

Participants will receive a certificate of at least 70% attendance
