The activity begins with an indoor lecture on Hong Kong’s marine ecology and plastic pollution, followed by a visit to ecological hotspots. Students will observe intertidal species, conduct waste surveys to record the types and amount of waste collected, and understand how marine debris affects the environment and our lives. This will help students to reflect on their lifestyle and cultivate reduce waste at source practices.
