Interactive Ecology Classroom Series

The interactive ecology classroom series uses thematic talks, short ecological films, games, art, and storytelling to engage students in fun and interactive learning. Covering six unique themes, from urban wildlife to birds and intertidal zones, it satisfies students’ curiosity about nature and encourages deeper ecological understanding.

    Introduces forest ecosystems and related concepts, prompting reflection on human impacts and inspiring conservation efforts to Hong Kong’s countryside.
  • Our Bird Neighbors
    Explores common urban birds in Hong Kong, encouraging observation and appreciation of urban ecology in everyday life.
  • Our Insect Neighbors
    Highlights insect traits and behaviors, dispelling myths and fears while learning how to coexist with them. (Recommended with "Insect Hotel Workshop" or "The Caterpillar Quest")
  • Water Beetles – Tiny Explorers
    Introduces freshwater wetlands and aquatic insects, encouraging students to participate in conservation activities.
  • A Day in the Mangrove
    Explores mangrove biodiversity, food chains, and threats from human activities.
  • Intertidal Exploration
    Explores intertidal biodiversity, species’ survival strategies, and human impacts on coastal species.
