Students will begin by exploring local marine ecosystems and the issue of marine debris through an engaging indoor lecture and board game activity. They will then visit coastal ecological hotspots where they will observe intertidal species, conduct waste audit, and to understand how marine debris affects the environment and our lives. This will help students to reflect on their lifestyle and cultivate reduce waste at source practices.
